About us:

Amalfi is a high tier, provider of custom systems and services. Our systems span voice and data communication, terrestrial and satellite communication, mobile offices, navigation, marine electronics, audio visual, instrumentation faceplates, panels, custom vehicles, mobile power handling equipment and CAD/CAM equipment. Our services include technical design, installation and service, customer support, training, rapid response or intervention personnel and master purchasing (depot and warehousing). Though our company is small, we are the largest provider of several product lines in the Midwest. We built our business by specializing in the design of custom applications for our customers. These customers include Fortune 500 companies, local, state and federal government agencies, boat, automobile and RV dealerships, builders and large end users. Our customer focus and market niches may at first seem non-related. However, all require robust, fail safe systems and allow the Amalfi Group to develop and install systems as we would design them for ourselves.

Our name comes from a coastal city in Italy. During the 10^th century it was a center of learning and a key location for maritime and navigation training. The Tabulata Amalfitana, a maritime code developed during this period, was used for over 500 years as the law of the sea. The name Amalfi is often associated with classical enlightenment. We use the name Amalfi to demonstrate our uncompromising, Old World values as we apply them to new technologies. Most of our work is a custom fabrication to meet a customer’s specific requirements.

Our corporate strategy is to partner with large corporations to develop an understanding of their business requirements and provide efficiencies and technical solutions specialized to meet their needs. The relationships we provide between our customers and vendors allow us to stay on the leading edge of a variety of disciplines.
